The Toddlers room serves children ages 15 months to 2 1/2 years old. The staff to child ratio is 1 to 6 with a maximum group size of 12. This room features tot-sized furnishings that promote independence and a sense of accomplishment but still provides a home-like setting. Weather permitting, outdoor play is available each day. This group uses the under threes playground located outside the infant room. This playground features a climbing structure, bike path, sand box, sensory garden and open grassy areas that provide ample space for the child to romp and play and develop their gross motor skills.
